DIY wave gauge components

About this resource

This collection of resources provides instructions for a user-friendly, low-cost tool to estimate wave energy. The “do-it-yourself” wave gauge was developed by Eric Sparks’ team as part of a collaborative research project that monitored and evaluated coastal restoration designs at the Weeks Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve.

These resources are originally housed here on the Mississippi State University Coastal Research & Extension Center's website.
